That's cool. I had an idea a few years ago to make a tailight housing just like yours. I don't have the puter or drafting talent to get the job done.

Sounds like your lookin for the GM RamJet 350 crate motor. 350hp, 400 ft.lbs. of torque, multi-port fuel injected. Cost..$5000.00, but comes complete with the computer, wiring harness and manual trans flywheel. Also, roller cam, roller 1.6 rockers, Vortec heads, 6 quart pan, chrome valve covers, distributor, plug wires, coil, long water pump and a 2 year warranty. Mine was in a 3300lb. '57 Chevy ht., with a 700R4, 3:50 gear and I got 21 MPG on the hwy.
You will need an electric fuel pump (preferably in the tank), 3/8 feed, 5/16 return fuel line and an inline filter ('88 Chev Celebrity V6). Once installed, add fuel and spark and your done. Additional engine mods are not needed or available (except your headers) so you will save there.
I will do this combo again.

Here in Charlotte, we can cruise 4 to 5 time a week, 8 months of the year. There are 4 dirt tracks within an hour of us, not to mention the"Dirt Track" at Lowes motor Speedway, Good Guys fall event, 2 major Nascar events, the spring and fall Lowes Auto Fair, at least a dozen street rod shops, the Legends series racing at the speedway all summer, 4 or 5 Large Harley shops within 20 miles, 30 to 50 Nascar race shops, who are constantly looking for machinist, fabricators and mechanics, not to mention, the largest mecca for America's banking industry in the country. Oh,...did I mention that our annual snow fall won't cover the green of your plush, green grass. ANNNND, I haven't worn a long sleeve shirt in 8 months.
It's not perfect,...but it deserves a good look.

The 700R4 is NPT.   I don't know about a 200r. If it were me, I would try a brass NPT fitting first and quit at the first sign of moderate resistance. Or, a quick call to your local trans rebuild shop could get you an anwser.

My trans cooler is mounted on the outside frame rail, directly in the air flow when goin down the road. It's also connected to the trans with 30 inchs of braided stainless #6 hose (3/8") in and out. After in-traffic driving, you can literally put your hand on the cooler and the temp appears to be bout 120 degrees. This excessive internal pressure seems to be building after a hard draw, like kickin it down to third to pass, or holdin it in third and runnin about 2500 to 3000 rpms. Whatever it is, it is blowin from the right side of the trans, on to the exhaust and that of course, bellows a nice little white cloud. Which looks and smells like he#*.
