My older brother just lost his job last week and lives in the Detroit area od Michigan, about five years ago he bought a 1940 Ford Deluxe Coupe to build his Dream Car, during this time he picked up about $6000.00 in new parts and had the rear fenders reworked, this was the only real bad area that needed attention. Well he call me yeaterday saying he going to sell the Ford with all the items he bought last year at the Louisville Swap Meet and he's asking only $10,000 for a 100% Steel Forty Coupe along with everything he bought. It also has a Small Block 350 Motor and Interior.

If anybody on the Forum is interested PM and and I will send you his contact information. He hopes to Keep his 1962 Grand Prix he's owned for 30 years, but with no job in the Detroit area who knows...

Again this is a Project that need to be completed but what a nice start...

In 2005 I bought a new Cadillac STS and during 31 months od driving it I put 127,000 miles without even changing a Litebulb.. One of the best cars I ever owned.

So this time I bought a new 2009 Cadillac CTS All Wheel Drive with the 306 H.P. Direct Injected motor.. I've only had it two weeks but I must say this is one nice car. It"s equipped with the Sports Tuned Supenion 18" wheels and drives like a dream. If the American Car Makers were building these types of cars for the past tens years I don't think they would be in the shape their in...

The Edlebrock Endura Shine process is nothing more then a three step process of a Primer Powder Coating, and then a Vapor Deposited Aluminium Layer (PVD) to look shiny and then a Top Coat Clear Powder Coat, It's less expense then Polishing to a high shine and won't Tarnish, the problem is chipping of the Powder Coating and the color doesn't match any other aluminium parts.

This process was developed by Goodrich Industries working with Dupont for the Automotive Wheel Indusrty.

I bought my hides off E-Gay six full size hides and a local guy did my 1937 Ford Coupe complete, Seats,Headliner, Doors, Trunk, and wool carpet for $5200 labor. the total price with me buying all the meterial was $6400. I had priice quotes from $9000 to $19,000 so I was really happy with the job and price...

No it was built by a local Rod Builder here in Lexington and he's custom built a few.. I couldn't buy anything even close to the price he charged me. I had all the A-Arms, rear end and misc things needed, If I recall the charge was less the $2000.

After looking at my rusted 37 ford stock frame and all the rust to deal with and pricing all the aftermarket frames. My buddy built this frame for my 37 coupe.. end the end it cost less to built this then buy one.

I LOVE IT.... Cool car and the picture looks great.. Any fish in that lake?
