Aesthetically, I like it.  It is like two things that shouldn't go together, but when they do...it just works.

You got served, yo!!!

Enjenjo left Vegas about noon and is currently looking to stop just east of Albuquerque tonight(sunday).  Say a rodding prayer for him because I have yet to see him have an uneventful eastbound trip and would like this to be number one.

Quote from: "WZ JUNK"Hey, I know you.  You have actually went swimming in the pool in my back yard.

My son does not care for cars.  He just sees them as a tool to get somewhere.  So you are not alone.

John
Been a while, but we had a great time at your house

I do appreciate the beauty and effort put in to them, but they start looking VERY similar when there is 5-8,000 of them around.

For those of you who don't know me(most of you), I am Enjenjo's son.  I am the black sheep when it comes to cars because, although I like them, I am not much for working on them.

I saw this article on the web and immediately thought of you guys...

Rodder's Roundtable / Tires
January 11, 2009, 07:59:18 PM
The tires on Enjenjo's Escape are 30,000 mile tires.  I know, because I bought them.  There were BF Goodrich 70,000 mile tires on it before that had the same gripping problem.

I never had a huge issue with it in Las Vegas, but the few times we had rain or snow out here, I could tell that the traction was not great.  I am not sure if it is how the car is designed(weight distribution and so on), but I had issues irregardless of tires I put on it.

Rodder's Roundtable / Honda Ridgeline

Quote from: "J Man"have you looked at the Avalanche? They are a little bigger so it would allow for more room in the back. Also the new engines are the ones that shut down to 4 cyl when you do not need fill power to save gas. I think they are all E85 also.

I have looked at the Avalanche.  I like it, but do way to much city driving to make the cylinder shut down worth my while.  I am also trying to keep the size in a range that fits in my garage.  Since Vegas is one of the top cities for having your auto stolen, I would prefer having it locked up at night.

Quote from: "Mikej"Why would you buy a truck that you think is  ugly anyway?

The looks are secondary to me.  It doesn't figure as high in the purchasing equation.  If I thought it looked awful, I wouldn't buy it(Pontiac Aztek, I am looking at you).

The Ridgeline isn't the prettiest truck, but it got a lot of great performance reviews.  Since I am going to be driving it and not kissing it, I don't think looks are enough to deter me from buying it.

Rodder's Roundtable / Honda Ridgeline

QuoteActually I have two friends that have bought them. They both like them real well. I have ridden in one and it seemed to be a fine appliance. For me there is little to like appearance wise.

I agree about the looks, but as I told my wife, I don't plan on riding on the outside of it and I don't spend a lot of time looking at the one I have now.

Did you happen to ride in the back seat?  I have read some concerns that it might not be that comfortable for adults.  That is my big concern for when I am hauling Fat Cat and Enjenjo around when they come to visit me.  They may be getting old, but they can still give a mean slap to the back of the head when they are agitated.

Does any one here know anyone that has the Honda Ridgeline?

I am looking at them and wanted the opinion of some one that owns one or has driven one.

Blog is short for weblog.  Think of it like a diary or journal of your views, thoughts, etc.

Hey is that any way to talk about me? I will remember that.

Are you upset because I forgot the ice cream?

The balls of which you speak are mine.  I have a lot of balls.  Go ahead, laugh...giggle...get it all out.

Seriously, it is the greatest invention for us bowlers who need to tune up their equipment every once in a while.  Imagine it to be like you tuning your engine for different purposes(racing, cruising, etc.).  If I need to retune the cover of the ball to meet a specific oil pattern, I can do it myself without making a special trip to the pro shop.

My father is the greatest, and of course made exactly what I need.  The gunk you see on it is the result of me setting in front of it like a fat kid with a birthday cake.

That is what you think.   I hope for your sake that you are right.
