Thanks for all the compliments guys. Reflections used to be my nemesis, now I use them to my advantage. Yes reflections on white is a challenge, that car actually has nearly no white on it, only the brightest of reflections are actually white. Thanks again for the compliments, it is encouraging.

In recovery mode. I avoided Corvid for 2 1/2 years, but it finally caught up with me.
Welcome to hell. Here's your accordion.

I hope you get well soon.    Our son, his wife, and his inlaws were in Ireland earlier this month and they all got covid just before they were to fly home.  They all spent an extra week in Ireland in an expensive hotel.  They are all back to normal now.   As a side note, 2 days of this trip they were on the Isle of Man for the motorcycle races.  It is billed as the oldest motorcycle race in the world.  The course is 37 miles of two lane roads through the towns and countryside and the average speed is about 130 mph.  To fast for me.

Yes Frank take it easy and get well .  I had covid earlier this year and would not have known had I not been tested . I later got the flu and suffered much more from that . Hope you have the milder gentler version , there seem to be a few versions out there with various levels of severity .

Best wishes for a speedy recovery, Frank!

I had Covid twice.  ...First time, I was treated with meds.  ....Second time, doctors were not allowed to prescribe meds, so it was much worse.

My wife & I are both having long-term effects from our Covid bout last November.

Frank hopefully it's not severe, seems like most cases are pretty mild lately. Feel better soon.

I finished another commission today and framed it, just have to paint the frame black. Since I left the gallery and started more self promotion I have been getting more commissions! I went to a local dragstrip last week, our local Shootout competition where I had raised money, through a raffle for a painting, for the event and set up a small display of my work and it seems to have sparked some interest. Still have a couple more lined up!

Took the jeepster to a (Rat Rod) show yesterday. Was put on by a small group that only had 8 cars there but with help from other local groups they got 62 cars together on the main street of a small town. There weren't many "Rat Rods" there (maybe the 8 member's cars plus 4 including me) but there was some nice local drivers. Everyone was friendly but there was probably more looking for shade than looking at cars. Because "Rat Rods" was the theme of the event the trophies were kind of light hearted. I was voted the "Best Bomb". The group had worked hard and they had collected over 100 door prizes            (I got dinners for two at our local Applebees) and they collected over $1,500.oo for Saint Judes hospitals. Got home early enough to go to Saturday evening mass and Linda and I went out to dinner. GPster

This was two of the more interesting cars in Pueblo. The Austin has a custom chassis and a LS3 with a tremec and 9" rear end. The builder is and upholstery man. He fabbed the mold and made the top from scratch. The car was very good. The other is a late 30's Ford pickup cab grafted to a model A coupe back end. At least that looks to be what it was. It had a y-block Ford and very good workmanship.

Drag strip yesterday with the blown 57 . Managed to twist off the distributor drive gear . Motor went dead, pulled cap , rotor not turning when starter turning over . Apparently this motor has done this before .

Pin sheared?  Or, teeth stripped?
