Thank kb, I just need to keep myself going till the parts I have run out. Then it will be a cash flow pace.  :)
You never have time to do it right the first time but you always have time to do it again.

Dave, I think I can safely say that we all understand that statement. :) Reality has a way of hurting the fun factor.

Matt, I think that dual headlight grille would be a nice touch. The 67 vette gets me excited. :) Looks like a pic of my friend in Australia's Jeep.

Vette would be a 66.   :)   Hood and louvers are different.

Yeah I found that project on AMS and he is currently playing with the grille. We had like a 76 Cherokee with Levi's interior when I was a young'un and always liked the slot over the grille so I put a kindasorta one on the wide Willys as a thought for the guy. Seems like a nice man and them Oz'ers kick out some wild projects. I started off asking about a grinding technique he uses on MIG.

Those Corvettes make me giddy in their presence.

The dual headlights does have potential but not customer interest so I broke pursuit. If it came across as something like GT grille lamps, that would be the look I was after.

By the way, just added a fresh batch of lunchtime pics. Hard to stay retired from posting with all my buddies confined due to the outbreak crisis. Arkansas remains an un-locked-down island and we are holding our ground relatively well currently. :)

It was a fabulous afternoon here. I decided to get industrious and tackled the blue spruce tree in the backyard. It's large and the lower branches were laying on the ground. I trimmed the bottom off so it can be cleaned around. It attacked me a few times so I look like I went to a fight and lost. There's a large pile of branches waiting for spring cleanup and 1 less item on my list of yard items. :)

My wife has been gone over three weeks now, watching grand kid da out of state. I can't go anywhere, so I decided to remove the two overgrown burning bushes we planted out front of the house many years ago. I dug and dug and sawed the roots for a couple hours, then said screw it, got the Ram out, put it in 4wd lock and yanked one of them out. The other one comes out tomorrow if it doesn't storm too much tonight.

I tried loading pictures from my phone to computer the other day . This teaching on line has me getting more confident at the keyboard . I got them loaded on the computer.....somewhere . When I find them I hope to start posting pictures here.  8) . I am putting in ridiculous hours getting my computer classes figured out.

Long  TuesDay.  Been awake since 3:40am .. Left the house at 7am  for the Surgical Hospital for my wifes knee replacement.. We arrived back home at 7:30pm

yes.  I have my wife home from a knee replacement the same day.  Everything went so well. She responded to all inputs as needed. Her numbers looked good.  She ate enough food and it stayed down.

She was in her room out of recovery by 2pm...  The physical therapist by 3:30pm had her in the hallway with her walker device putting some weight on the reworked knee..  Doctor was happy with numbers , so he released her by 6;30pm

Now... tomorrow after all the extra local pain meds wear off is gonna be Rough! I think I heard 30 times Today the warning about the "day after" surgery.  My wife's oldest sister had a knee replaced about 7 yrs ago, so we know about the pain factor.

Friday afternoon the PT visits start..  She has a list of PT to do at home starting tomorrow. I have to help her.  My wife is a tough , independent gal.  This is gonna be interesting.

Make sure she does the physio , even if it hurts . That is the way you get the best mobility after the surgery .

Tony, that sounds very promising. My wife had tuneups done on both knees years ago. When she got home, I found out how unprepared we were. No riser for the toilet seat, no tall chair. :)

My wife ordered all the equipment weeks ago. Walker, toilet riser, other items. Thankfully her oldest sister listed items to think about.

The knee stretch therapy this morning went about as expected. She did them, mostly. I reminded her the PT on friday will be much worse and she knows it. The knee bending is the worse, but we are less than 24 hrs out of surgery.

The breathing exercises were performed on the little plastic gizmo.

I dont think I mentioned this. The surgery was robot assisted. It aligned the leg during surgery.  Doctor said xray scans all look good.

At 4:10am this morning, she was explaining to me what she wanted from Whataburger.. the traffic was light.  LOL
