Well, I WAS rolling a winter's worth of mole runs in the yard until I got too close to the garden and it sucked me in. Oops...

I had to look up Scag. No where in the description does it include off roading in mud. :) That's a pretty nice looking mower. At least it was when it was clean. :)

Installed the 55 one piece floor pan this weekend and put it back on the frame. Now I can move to the rear floor. I want to mini tub it and replace the spare wheel hole with a rigid floor.
You never have time to do it right the first time but you always have time to do it again.

Working on the 32 Ford.
Engine and Trans. are ready to go, Engine is now a 360 with 9.5 to 1 compression, should be 325 to 350 HP.
Working on all new wiring and new dash and gauges, etc.
Some people try to turn back their odometers
Not me, I want people to know "why" I look this way.
I\'ve traveled a long way and some of the
roads weren\'t paved.

Ken, while you're doing all of this, can I get you excited about EFI? A holley sniper would be a very nice addition. :)
Dave, where's the pics?????:)

No injection now, that's a new 600 CFM Holly.
May consider an Edelbrock Pro-Flo EFI system later, but would need a tank and pump change.

Since Photobucket held all my picture at ransom I have only been using google photos. Here is a link to my album. I am back on Vickie's truck and I think I found the power steering issue. The bracket is not sturdy enough so when it need the extra oomph the bracket is giving and the belt is vibrating/losing grip.

Looking good Kenny.

Getting started with teaching machining from a computer at home . Has anyone seen any you tube tutorials they would recommend ? I have seen a number of them that are questionable at best

Removed the Aux switch panel and fuse block I installed in my 1962 Falcon many years ago.  With added electrical  items for the drag strip, this panel worked well.

I do not drag race the car any longer since the government closed the track down 6 yrs ago.  Travel to Tucson was too long of a drive for a quick race day just for a few runs

Panel was mounted in the radio location.  Hard to believe, this 1962 Falcon dash has not been cut up for radio or other added items

My 460 Ford is crying.  You can see the tear running down the dust shield just below the oil pan bolt near the rear main.  I suspect the freeze plug located in the back of the block is leaking.  I tried an additive that I have had really good luck with it in the past, but it is still shedding a tear.  I am wondering how much coolant actually circulates in this area of the block?  Today I plan to drain the coolant completely by removing the drain plugs in the block and then refilling the whole system.  My hope is that I can get more of the additive to the area that is leaking.

I do not think that I can remove the transmission from the truck without removing the engine.  This leak is in the absolutely worst possible place.   The good news is that I have the time to fix it, if I have to.  Its just a big job to remove the engine and transmission.  I hate the mess of all the fluids more than anything.

Day eleventeen of cleaning, purging my basement. I have given away a few hundred pounds of stuff and have my truck bed full of landfill donations. I can finally see light at the end of the tunnel, it's a light I forgot I had....I found an old toolbox, that I don't remember, and in it was a tube of Yamaha gasket maker, full, but completely dried out, and a used set of rings for a YZ 250 that I owned in the 80's. There was also a booklet for VW's, it listed every VW dealership in North and Central America, from 1971 I think...🤔😃 I have all day to paint, but haven't picked up a brush in weeks, no motivation I guess....😕

Yesterday evening, I read the book "Cruisin" the Original Woodward Avenue". I found the history of Detroit to be better than the part about the evolution of cruising. I have wanted to visit Detroit for sometime to see the museums and the historical sites. I have been cautioned years ago to be very careful where you go.

It's much better now than it was years ago safetywise. But right now Wayne County, where Detroit is, is a hotbed for the Covid 19 virus, stay away for a while...!
