I'll be back with fresh popcorn and pocket automotive glossary shortly then. 8)

Tiny bit of progress. Wiring harness to the pump and gauge has been modified. I ran the rear brake lines. Not fastened to the frame yet. The proportioning valve is positioned under the cab. I spent several hours trying to connect to the c.v. trans cooler. I give up. I will get an after market cooler and get this over. The core support is blocking the lower line. It wasn't a good option to cut the support  until the strength was gone to use the factory cooler. Minor problem. :)

O&S spent most of the afternoon in the shop. One of my friends mentioned reusing the original trans cooler. I hadn't thought of that yet. The ac condenser and trans cooler are a unitized part. I figured out where to cut and went to work. Not real good but effective. :) The new radiator and condenser are in. I need to make a mount for the power steering reservoir and that part is completed. I have reused as much of the c.v. stuff as possible. There's a lot less junk laying on the floor. :)

took me a minute to understand.  What I was seeing as sway bar mounts , were actually mounts for the radiator on the side of the tank

It's been a long day at O&S. :) I put fluids in everything and made a bracket for the power steering reservoir. I hooked up all the wiring after spending 10 minutes looking for a few parts that I put up for safe keeping. It started right up after priming the fuel system a few times. The instrument cluster doesn't work. There is an open circuit on the efi feed to it. I have removed the abs, air bags, all power door functions and speaker connections. The feed for the cluster is called the "logic" feed in the wiring diagram. A lot of the circuits I removed require that feed. It will take more tracing to find the beginning to tie everything together. I wasn't planning on starting on the harness now but it seemed to make sense to get rid of most of it so I can plan component locations and see what else I need to attend to. Here's a short video of it running. Pardon the sound effects. :)

Woops, got a little keyboard cleanup to do here. After reading that, I should have known better than to scroll down to pasta. Got me! Video not available. :?

Matt, the link works from my place. I don't know what is wrong.

I made a mistake. It got tagged as private. I think I have rectified that. :)

Does that make him a rectifier? :?

1st dilemma repaired. Gauge cluster now works. All the removed systems warning lights are on. That might be fun to remove. :)

wait a sec ....  is that a/c condensor still full of dead bug debris ?  :T)

Tony, that was the old one. The shiny new one is in place. :)

Despite some "no brains available" moments, some progress has been made. :) For some reason, Ford ran the wiring harness across the dash from both sides. It was my goal to eliminate that. I have some feeds looped up for things like a stereo and the ac main power feed. I have stripped the rear harness. The fuel pump module and the inertia switch were in the trunk or on the rear seat back panel. I'm going to move the inertia switch to the cab and I'm researching about the pump module. Most of the tape had melted and left a very sticky mess. There's more to do but less than there was. LOL

I just noticed that the cluster has an icon to show when you've done a burnout .....
 That's pretty neat    8)   ....

KB ..I found that brake cleaner does an excellent job of removing the sticky residue from loomed wires .....   Just spray it on & wipe it off with a paper towel ..... 8)
