I'll try that , Bob. I think I need a spray booth for that to get everything. :)
Light evening at O&S. I removed the fuses from the panels that either were police specific or removed circuits. I haven't removed all the circuits yet as to possible reuse of wiring from the fuse panels. At this point, I want the dash to have the original switches so there will be a lot of connection wiring to make all circuits complete.

More wire removal this evening. This part I'm happy about. It ran long enough to warm up. The only code was the tank evap system that I removed. I cleared the code and it didn't Instantly come back. I wouldn't say it won't come back but I'm optimistic. :)

Mid-day at O&S. This is the temporary stopping point for wiring. :) The power distribution panel has been trimmed up, the front loomed up and the rear loomed up. The inertia switch and fuel pump relay wiring is ready to be installed in the rear of the cab. Items left are the lights, ignition switch, wiper switch and the ac wiring. When the cab and inner front fenders are installed, all of this can be finalized.

End of the day at O&S. I made a short couple of brake lines to tie the 2 front wheel tubes together with a tee under the chassis towards the inside . That will be connected to the master when the cab is installed. All the harness was removed and the chassis is back outside for the 1st time in about 2 months. :) The bed is tilted up on the dented side and cleaned up some. Tomorrow I will tackle metal repairs.

Awright, a horror flick! I'm getting Junior Mints for this one. :)

Little bit of progress. I ground off someone else's bondo repairs to see what was hiding on the tailgate and the left side of the bed. The 2 lower bed supports have been repaired. I'm shaky today. Welds look poor. :)

Mid afternoon break. T.B. is setting in. :) I finished the 2 patches on the left side, scrapped the grunge off the bottom of the bed from the leaking pinion seal and have removed most of the bondo from the right side. I used the heat gun and the 4" razor scraper. It was at least 1/2" thick. Not a record by any means. :)

End of the day! The dent was 7/8" deep. Still needs bondo but a light coat. :)

Morning break at O&S. I filled 17 holes in the bed rails. There were a few dents to pound out. I have welded up the damaged areas of the floor. 2 of the mounting holes were rusty. I had 2 c.v. body mounting plates that were 3/16" thick. They have gone on to a better purpose. They were large enough to extend past the rusted areas. Not pretty but effective for a bed that will get used. :)

T.B. has taken over. I put the bed on the H.F. trailer and it went outside. :) I welded up a bunch of holes in the doors. I removed the rest of the interior parts to prepare for paint work. The caulk where the cowl meets the firewall had shrunk so I removed it. Enough fun for 1 day. :)

That was a good day, sir.  :)

Thank you, Matt.
I got started on the cab this evening. I used a buffer set on real slow and a 80 grit disc. The reason for that is to allow me to see all the hail dents. This cab is thinner metal than what I have done in the past. I'm concerned about warpage on large areas. I need all the help I can get. :)

Mid day at O&S. Brake booster is mounted. Several obstacles encountered. Holes cut for the 2 wiring harness bulkheads that will be used.

It's been a pretty good day at O&S. It got a little warm in the shop so I moved outside. 101 and 18% humidity. A great summer day. :) I blasted until storm clouds started to appear. I'm not taking any chances with bare metal. :)
