Ive been home for almost an hour        Daaaaaaaaaaam that was cold but it was fun too. I was impressed I put the battery in the glide and put every thing back together turned on the ignition and it started better than the coupe  :!:  With the fuel injection it didnt even care... Come on summer....

And ya know :?:  the worst part is i built and programmed one of the machines to assemble and test part of the harley injection fittings at................  Sorry lord. WORK.

We had the nostalgia drags on last weekend so I went drag racing.
I only did a 13.7,was trying to better 13.4 @97 mph
Did the first pass and was happy and you know what it's like you can always give it a bit more and I did,loaded up the hi stall another 500 rpm and fouled the plugs, no spares was all over for the day.

This is getting to be a PIA.. I did go to the garage last night and dust off the coupe.  Looks good  Gotta move Sues mother tomorrow. Hopefully get it all done in the morning.. Sunday who knows.. Depends on how i feel. Im not going back to the doc till after autorama and i may have to go see a specialist :? Anyway this is about hot rods and im gonna read my street scene and street rodder i got today and watch tv tonite......

The weekend is about done.

Not much happened here but I did finally get another model car finished.

This one is Vince's slighly worn '40 coupe from C-9's book, Pinky.

I think I may have got it slightly messed up by addidn the dual pipes, dropped axle, big n littles on red wheels before the earl schieb paint job.  















Can anybody pick the serious mistake?

Got the mother in law moved yesterday. My 2 boys came to help and after we got done i took em out for lobster dinner.. We left Sue with her mother  Its kinda funny we were out looking for a place to have a good steak :?:  Im going to the garage today and ive got to do a little detail work on the coupe and make a run to grandmas house and fetch two more items that are comming over here.. That will prolly be all i do..

Oh ya i got online and ordered some Harley parts too. I found a post on the vtwin forum on where to buy all the parts to make a screaming eagle air cleaner kit for a lot less money. So this spring its back with the louder mufflers ,new air cleaner and a remap of the puker. This is something that really helps em so im gonna get r done

It's butt kicking day in Georgia-lina.   I took the 64 econoline into the body shop 2 weeks before christmas, they guy said it would take 2 weeks to do the body work, and another week to get it painted, and he wanted all his money when I picked up the van and was satisfied.

Two weeks into the job he called and wanted $1,000, which I gave him. A month later, he needed another $1000, so I gave that to him with the reminder how far behind we were getting.   We've preregistered for the show in Myrtle Beach SC coming up the middle of this month.  Even reserved a condo with friends.  He's been promising me that I could have it for the weekend after he gets the inside ready so I can work on it, and he'd put the paint on the outside the next week.

I his defense I did pull it out of his shop for a week to have some motor work done on it,  that's when we found out that his blaster had sandblasted over 50 holes in my radiator, so we had to wait for that to come in.

This guy is really getting on my nerves, so I'm loading up in a few minutes to go find him and find out why this 3 week job has turned into 3 months!

I've got one full weekend to get something done to the interior, and he doesn't seem the least bit concerned.

I thought all liars were signmen, I guess some went into the paint and body business too   LOL

Went to a car show on Saturday. Had great weather and 102 cars at it. Lots to see. 4 of us got our 4 street rods lined up for a picture since our Mississippi street rod tags are in order. I broke the picture up into four so that the tags could show up better since the shot was too wide. Then I went to a cruise-in that night.
