We are fine, kind of between the flood areas.  At least the lake is filling up, (Missouri River dam). Going down to look at the creek in a few minutes, last time we flooded was 82, and still never got near our end of town.

I have been busy replacing the liner in our pool. Today I bought 12,000 gallons of water to fill the pool.   So Doug has to much water and I am buying water.  Isn't that they way life goes.

And next week you'll have the heavy rains that could help fill your pool.

Remember, even in a wet year, we only get 10 - 12 inches of water a year.

Did a little more work to the wheel well and another test fit on the quarter panel. I need to get the area behind the quarter panel blasted and painted before final fitment and welding.

I helped a good friend do some test and tune on his rail dragster last night.  A very hot summer night for two old guys.  He hand built the chassis and body and most everything that is fabricated on the car.  He is a metalworker extrodinaire.  It was great fun but a late night for me.  It was a learning experience for both of us and hopeful our next time will be smoother and faster of course.

Spent a fabulous fathers day doing cage /chassis work on my son in law's stock car . We have been talking about this stuff for over a year and finally got to it . Spent half the day with my daughter and SIL and had a great time . :)

Hi all, I sure haven't been around here much lately. It's good to see everyone seems to be doing well. I haven't been doing much car stuff lately, no motivation I guess. I have still been painting, though I left the gallery where I had my work. I guess it was just the wrong place for my type of art. I have picked up several commissions lately, the white Dodge just went out the door today and another is on the easel and another is waiting. I hope to be back more frequently now!

Doing reflections against a white background must be way more difficult than even painting reflections in chrome ... NICE WORK ! Nice to see you back here

Really nice pictures.  My mom was an artist, but she could never get the proportions correct for cars and trucks.
