Couple family members had the 2 shot vaccines..   One is a teacher , the other works in medical field ( no idea of what)..  Both of these folks said the first shot was just a sore arm from the injection.  The second shot slapped them a bit.  Tired, long sleep period, headaches for 1 - 2 days.

For what ever reason: a guy at work decided he had to tell me my face covering I wear is useless because I can smell farts thru it? I ignored him till he came into my dept area and had to tell another guy  the same thing about my face covering while laughing at me.  So , instead of making a deal of it with him  I talked to the GM.  Told the GM (again):  I dont like wearing a mask. I wear them at work because of my wife's medical situation. Please shut the DA up or I am leaving.

The company owner heard about the situation and I had mentioned loading up my tools.  I dont like to talk about the pandemic and masks.. it is like politics now or worse.  Some People get all nutz about it like this guy. Same guy was told last summer to shut up when he whizzed off other  co-workers on the mask debate.

Wearing a mask isn't a political statement, it's an IQ test.  Hope this doesn't get me kicked off the site.

This guy is the same DA that last year did not believe the virus was even real. Till some folks he knows came down with the virus.  He works near the the fellow that spent weeks in a Mexican Hospital with the covid and was on a ventilator for several days.

This guy is deeply religious.. Everything comes from God and Jesus. He has a cross and religious items hanging in his work area.   I am the opposite to his beliefs.  I do not laugh at him because of his faith.  I do not tell him what a fool he is about his beliefs.    And:  Yes, he was told some years back to stop pushing his religious beliefs at people.

Like the rest of the USA , Arizona receives reduced vaccine dose numbers.  I rechecked on vaccine signup appointments over the weekend.  Nothing available till early March and you are not allowed to sign up till the vaccine has arrived in AZ.

Nobody is going to get any criticism from me for thinking this thing is real and serious. I know of too many who've been seriously, seriously sick from this. Some of them are dead. Not one, some. I don't accept a gift of death from someone else's stupidity, and if someone wants to risk giving me that gift I have no problem telling them no thank you.

Wow Tony, I came in and read your post first and it looked like you were calling Phil a DA.
Glad I read further.  :)

You never have time to do it right the first time but you always have time to do it again.

500,000 Covid-19 deaths so far in the US. That is about 0.15 percent of the population. That is out of about 0.7 percent of the population infected. and just about 1 percent have been immunized so far. In my area they are still working on those 75 years old or older. It's going to be a while before we can take off the masks.

We asked the CVS drugstore in town if they were going to be giving shots, and they told us that they work with the county health dept in town. We went to register there, and NADA, nothing, nope. Small county and we've had a few deaths. My wife checked on a few other places in a 40 mile radius, and either nothing, or all appointments are filled. One of the 3 local hospitals said they would call us, but never has.

We're both 70 and in good health, so we can wait it out until more is available. We wear masks when we go out. I think IL kind of got screwed up with the vaccine.

The VA messaged me on the 8th That vaccines were available and the walk in clinic was open. On the 18th they messaged saying that the walk in Covid vaccine clinic was closed and vaccines were by appointment only. I haven't tried to call for an appointment yet.

I figure that not unlike the engine fire recall notices which I could wallpaper a room with, eventually there will be full bore all-media vaccination notifications assault with tax penalty or driver's license renewal denial when "records indicate you have not"... bought this product and paid that professional.

Your belligerent coworker Mr. Pushypushpush is just fishing for men, thats what the fish means. Take that as you will. The way I see it, a person is either from the cyclic or linear camp once embellishments are pushed aside.

We was hunkered down last week with bad weather and guess what? Lunch meat aisle picked down to the bone at the store. I'm like... seriously? :?  Infrastructure is totin awful close to max capacity in a lot of ways. Finding out my folks lost power half a day in dangerous temps from electric company blackouts is another wake up call. Order your electric scooter today!  Not.
