Shhhh. Keep this quiet.  I was in Chandler AZ today. Chandler uses many speed monitor cameras , lights, radar warning signs.  I try to stay away from there.  Wife drove today..  I am near calmed down just from that.

Bought some meat from a local owned butcher shop.  Suppose to be real good meat products. At the prices, it had better be.  Will be smokin meat by 8:30 am .. thursday

had to pick up a parcel from post office today . I bought a  glenwood , finned aluminum timing cover for the T . In talking with the po , it came off his front engine dragster . Now I have the whole finned aluminum set ! Oil pan , valve covers , oval air cleaner , Timing cover  and fuel pump block off are all finned aluminum. Now I will have to make spacers for the water pump to clear the timing cover and a plug for the fuel pump drive hole . I will also have to make a timing pointer now as the one I bought a couple weeks ago will be too short ,(besides which I have an idea of a neat one to make ) . The pulleys were not lining up anyways so this may actually help in that regard . Only problem is that with the school I work at shut down I have no access to a milling machine other than getting the phase converter and wire up mine at home .

Well , i lied.  I had the meats smoking by 7am...  I fired up both of my smokers. Got the task finished in just over 4 hours. Then the clean up began. LOL

1 T-bone thick cut. 2 Rib eye steak. 4 burgers from ground tri-tip meat. 4 sausages ; Italian with jalapeno and cheddar cheese ground in.  Beef rib rack too.

We should be good for about 1 month or so.

I did some more tuning on the 460 engine in the Ranger.  The vacuum secondaries are not opening.  I have tried different springs and I now have the lightest of the options.  I have one more trick to try the next time I do my back road test and tune.  I am about ready to go to the dragstrip to answer the question, whatshedo

Wow you are really letting loose ! Love the creativity . Was this just something you came up with or did you see something and get inspired?

This was inspired by a picture in an old Rodders Journal, an unfinished, bare metal project. I took a few (quite a few) liberties with it!

Good work. I'm thinking 2 days isn't much time if you spend a lot of time seeing where you need to go after each brush stroke. I'm guessing that you can visualize pretty good. :)

Have you ever thought of painting this kind of stuff on a rusty old running board apron or some other part , maybe half of a beat up T or A hood top? It would make for some pretty neat garage art !

Funny you say that. There is an artist on one of the auto art sites I frequent that paints really nice auto art on door skins. I have an old door from my '46 Ford pickup in my shop.....🤔

I changed out the seat belts in the 54 Chevy.  I did not like the ones I originally installed with the airplane style latch. In this application they did not work well.   The new ones are much better.

My wife and I went for two long test drives in the Ranger.  We were just being lazy and we wanted to go for a ride.

I had not used my sewing machine for nearly a year.  It was acting up and making a mess of the sticking.  It took me awhile to get the tension on the thread adjusted.  All is well now.

A good day.
