We have a varied assortment of posts here. I'm glad that you are all going on and doing the best we can. In the foreward of one of Jay Carnine's books, he talked about the magic of the car hobby and how it affects people. For whatever reason, I agree with his assessment. Car people that are active have good lives.

My fish pond is ready for the season! Water just has to sit for a day . I also want to see a few nights with a low temp of 5 or higher before I put my finned friends out for a dip. Might be going for water lilies next weekend . Some of my cat tails made it through the winter.

Found a dead gopher in the back yard.  Looks like the owls had a go at the rodent.

Last night: killed 6 scorpions.. tonight (tuesday) killed 6 more scorpions in the yards.

Young  rabbit was hanging around the front yard this evening. The Horned  owls need to handle that.

Late winter prep. Swapped out the rear center section last night and installed 2.75 gears. Not to bad of a job but a hoist would have given me enough room to get under the not have to lift the pig off the ground while laying on my back.
Now I am on to figuring out why my car insist on leaking all over the floor in the winter. Need to replace the front seal in the power steering pump and the engine's front seal is leaking for the second time. Installed a new seal last spring and a sleeve.

Been working in the yard for the last 3 days. Pulled some bushes and their stumps , filled the holes and groomed the area. Took a load of yard waste to the dump. It's good to be outside..

Going to start on a new back door on my swap meet/utility trailer sometime today.

But fist have gotta do a drive by birthday for my Grandson who turns 10 years old today.

I'm doing my part to keep the economy going. I think I ordered enough parts to finish the 78. Time will tell if memory failure occurred or project creep accelerated.

Flood Irrigated the yards on wednesday...    It has been in the low 100*F here lately.  That is 12 to 15 degrees higher than average.

Wife's recovery from knee replacement surgery is going well.   She is still ahead of the average recovery in physical therapy.   They had a new patient start PT last week. She was really screaming about the pain. My wife said half the building must have heard the ruckus

Tony, it's been dry and warm here. Back in 80 or 81, the 15th day of June it went to about 110 degrees. I'm wondering if we're in for a repeat of that weather pattern.
