Thanks for your comment. I am still trying to envision your description, where the fender is involved. Seen below: more grasping at straws. Maybe I should do something mainly showing the stripes in the hood features. Bah, it quit raining now. :)

I am hoping those last two are less catastrophic somehow.

the second one looks the best to me .

I like some elements of the first one. I have a couple questions though. Why does it get narrower as it reaches the bottom of the door? To me it looks like a dart pointing to the back. I would make the stripe at the bottom of the door slightly wider, or the same width as the diagonal stripe. By the same token why is there a sharp angle when the stripe turns to the back? The body has a very curvy organic shape for the most part, and the sharp angle just doesn't feel right to me. If you are going with a white as the primary body color, with a tan stripe, I you has a 3/8" gap of body color between the tan stripe and a 1/2" or so orange stripe on both the top and the bottom of the tan stripe I think it would make it look more finished. Just my thoughts ignore me if you don't like it.

Thank you. If there has to be a continuation on the bed for that version, I say hide it under the bed rail.

Do you mean the top one in the stack of 3? In that one, the diagonal and horizontal portions are intended to represent two different but uniform widths.

On the bottom two in the stack of 3, in the manner of the other stripe design found when searching Boss cars old and new, a taper is present on horizontals. The option to wrap the stripes around rear of cab and bed exists on the first stripe image posted, the unfinished computer drawn one in a post by itself.

The proportion of width between horizontal and diagonal is to represent that of the most popular Boss stripe approximately. Making the two portions the same width would take away resemblance to that stripe.. I did not overlay anything or measure to assure accuracy. These drawings are all only intended as thumbnails since most are to be discarded and tighter renderings of each one of interest are to follow if desired.

The sharp or radiused stripe bend is a question I asked point blank but sensed I was aggravating the boss by wanting him to detail his request. He became dismissive at that point. I consider that aspect to be an undefined detail not rendered with close inspection in mind.

I agree that little stripes around the big one are needed and only depicted what I had mentioned to boss previously, knowing it would not stand much chance of being valid as drawn, but necessary to illustrate the difference between yes or no in comparison to the previous unaccented version.

All valued input. Hope my counter comments make sense as well.Thanks. :)

This website shows the detail of the 70's version of stripe . https://www.deadnutson.com/best-ever-1970-boss-302-stripe-kit/
I noticed on the 2000's version that there are 2 versions. One with 2 side stripes and one with a single, neither cross over the top of the fender and hood. Maybe that would be a simpler option?

I like the overall pattern of the first one, but the horizontal just looks off. Maybe tapering that horizontal would help.

Duly noted. :) I would have a hard time with this. I don't have the visionary skills to do that without drawing which I have no skills with. :)

I just tape plain paper to my monitor and trace with pencil but so far that technique seems too advanced for others to attempt. :?

or... its just easier to let their unique ideas go unseen.

Somebody has to do it. Well, at least I think someone ought to when so much money is involved.

The big diagonal door stripe does appeal to some. Its difficult for me to refine things I don't "get". Some things do polarize a crowd, thats for sure. If you'll notice, I haven't found anything good to say about any stripes. I would agree that since the overly dramatic hood features remain cosmetic, they could use accents. But the colors to be used (main color not tan, not white. Name is champagne but looks more like parchment. Every image I created thus far "needs to be lighter" except the recent "white") kinda just ruin the whole deal for this guy. Why would anyone pass up the chance to use a nice color with some effect? To be trendy? Leaves a lot of good looks on the table if you ask me, particularly on round shapes. Solids are like throwing away hard-earned potential IMHO.

Heres one the shop was doing when I hired on. Not a fan of the colors or mirrors but the paint effect is nice. :)

I have a problem with the rubber band front tires but I like the drip rails being removed. LOL.

Yeah that cab looks slicker but now if I was to tell you it has a Prius drivetrain swap... them front wheels and tires and their location might make you think twice. 'Cause if I tell you a hen dips snuff, you better check under her wing. ;) For the box. Is that a plug in over the bed behind the driver?    :-o

Put em back in your head, shocked guy.  :)  I's just messin widja. Its an antenna or something but I guess maybe thats what 15s look like on them or wait... thats a less than optimal frame stub job or Panther subframe thing we're looking at, ain't it? I don't think there were frames and hoods and stuff out yet.  :?

Something sure looks compact spare-ish in that last shot though, don't it?
