Gasoline Prices: 2021

I went across Kansas today. Most places ranged from 1.97 to 2.03. I filled up in Newton where I picked up a rear end and paid 1.80. 5 miles down the road it was 2.03 again.

Central NJ - most regular currently priced at $2.11 - $2.16.  ...The price jumped about 10 cents in anticipation of the new tax increase.

Due to less revenue from fuel tax during covid lockdown/shutdown, the State of NJ has raised the motor fuel tax by 9.3 cents/gal effective Oct 1.  ...Gas will now have a total of 50.7 cents/gal, while diesel will have 55.7 cents/gal TAX.

I got curious. Kansas is 24 for gas and 26 for diesel. Colorado is 22 for gas and 20.5 for special fuels which includes diesel and ethanol above 10%.

Taking a trip, just filled up at Murphies (Walmart) for $1.77! 😄

On a raod trip to northern AZ last week... Small towns were at 2.12 to 2.18 a gallon of gasoline. diesel a bit less.

Local to me prices are down a few cents this week.  $2.30 a gallon is common.

Common price I see on gasoline here is still in the area of 2.30 to 2.38 a gallon.

Diesel is doing the most changing in prices.  2.40 to 2.55 a gallon

Local area gasoline prices are still near the same here.  Those folks in control must be happy with the current level of price for metro Phoenix AZ

I drove to Wauseon Oh today and gas was $1.65 there at three stations.

Gasoline prices actually dropped 4 cents in some stations I pass by in Phoenix.  There had been no change for a long time.

2.26 a gallon I see now.  Diesel was at the same price , at least today it was.

Local to me it is still 2.32 to 2.39 a gallon.

I paid 2.24 a gallon on phoenix on wednesday...  around local to me prices have increased a few pennies at some stations.  2.36 a gallon

My wife filled up at Sams Club today for $1.84, most stationsare about $1.96.

Stations near we drove past this sunday morning have come back down to 2.30 a gallon.... One station was at 2.39 a gallon.
