I reckon I could just hit enter every so
often, when I type. That would probably
work, like this. Pics would still be monstrous
but reading might be easier.

You want to know how to do it, no magic?

Interesting.  How's it done?

I have a mouse that I can move the screen side to side , so I can read the posts with the large photos

Something magic happened in my yard this week. You all probably know all about the barking dog over my back yard fence.    Well I haven't heard the dog this week. Last week about now, I moved the Bark Genie to a different spot. Miraculously, the desired result occurred. I don't understand it nor do I expect it to last, but the daily double dose of anger is fading. Still, when I think of home I think of dog and rage but that too will fade given time. Has before. It may be awhile before I am confident enough to remove the sound blocking provisions from my windows and allow sunlight and fresh air to enter. This has been an epic mental adventure and I certainly hope it is drawing near to an end. Thanks for listening and not suggesting I hate dogs.

I am also delighted to say that (this is rare) that our current crew at the shop is possibly the best it has ever been, in my opinion. Scrambling to find half a dozen dudes with the right overlapping skill sets and genuine passion across the board has been worth it. We are finally going to get some feature articles on cars not trucks, and to top it all off my recent ventures in metal work have not gone unappreciated... in a useful, ongoing way that begins to make life slightly less scary.

The blog, by default, resizes anything I upload to "medium". I change each pic to fullsize, creating an extra step to provide full clarity. If you guys can choose the size you want, I can make them thst from here on out if you wish. Here are examples of the sizes:

Full size

Extra large

Large

Medium

Small

Just now when I hit preview they are all the same size. Now I am  :? but posting anyway, in case it takes a few minutes for changes to appear.

I wish I'd known about the dog barking thingie when I had my house before this one. The neighbor lady had a dog in her back yard that belonged to her son that live 15 miles away. The dog would bark incessantly during the night. The son finally took the dog to his house.

Well in my case (as cautioned on package) it INcreased barking. That did not deter me from using the device, just let me know the dog wanted to do it the hard way. My strategy after the fiasco on Labor Day was to gather video evidence, try not to yell inside my house... and wait for it to come to a head. Last couple weeks before, they had gone back to leaving it out night and day and I was getting uneasy about my ability to continue tolerating. Whew! Birds and squirrels are returning. :)

I use irfanview  http://www.irfanview.com/  to resize photos.

To do so, open irfanview, select open, and select the file the photo is in. Once you have that open, you can load any photo in that file into irfanview. Once you have a photo loaded, you you go to open again, and scroll down to "batch conversion/rename", click on that and it will open a new window. There will be thumbnails of all the photos in that file at the top of the window. On the upper left select "batch conversion, rename result files". Below that select "advanced settings". There will be a box next to that labeled "Advanced", click on that. in that window select " set new size as % of the original". I use 50% but it's up to you.  Below that select" preserve aspect ratio", and "use resample function". At the lower right select " apply changes to all pages.  Also at the lower right select save settings, and close that window.

For "name pattern", select the format for the new name of the image. In "output directory for result files".

To resize, go to each photo you want, click on it, while holding the select key so they are all highlighted. Then click on Add below that. Your file names should appear in the field at the bottom. Go to the lower left, and click on start batch. In a few seconds they should be done, and the image should be in the file you selected. At that point you can load the copy to the RRT. Once it is loaded to the post, a single click should open it full size.

I can load a max size of 640 x 480 photo onto the RRT.

Max 120 mp pixel , as I recall

I used Irfanview to shrink pics for the green and yellow Camaros, the 33, and the Biscayne. Then came lightning and now I post from a 4" screen. Resizing with Irfanview is a great deal of extra effort even though it does batches, and with the phone I would only be looking to reduce steps. Most evenings are already over half messing with pics and posting. Ever try cut and paste with soft keys? Ugh. Typing is a cruel joke that way, I can't fathom how it has come to be the accepted standard. Big data transfers are a snap, memory and space wise but the interface is as bad as that dog!

I don't understand how small pics on the blog showed up full size here today, that has never happened before. I would upload here but have the idea that theres a data limit of some sort on the site that I would murder instantly if I did. Correct me if I am wrong. In past tries, the  file size allowed for upload here is so tiny that the pictures would only really serve as documentation of work done, lacking enough detail to do what I want to do... show how. I could just take smaller pics too but don't for the same reason. I find myself more and more, telling people I like that what I offer is what I can give. Many think stuff like too giant pics or too many iffy attempts at comedy are things I have neglected to consider. Not so. If the collective here can establish a desired pixel width, I can possibly make that change. Until then I will just continue. Maybe we ought to use the poll feature and allow time for those with opinions to speak? I am all for making my content what you guys want it to be, its just rare to hear input.     :D
