I have discussed this with fat cat, I am putting this out there to you. We will be losing the storage we have for the BBQ trailer this fall. I have thought about selling the trailer to finance the racer.

So what are your thoughts on selling it? How much should we ask if we do sell it? Is there some one willing to store it if we keep it?

I voted to sell. You and Fat Cat have not asked for any contributions to support the site for years  and that could be a priority for any money because that iwould cover the interests of more of the members of RRT  that contributed to the building of the trailer. As far as any details of the sale I would certainly trust your judgement on the matter. The last few years, not much, usually once a year.

I also agree with Joe's line of thinking.

IMHO, the racer will be the next project to be abandoned due to lack of finances or participation.

My observation is that we are past the trailer deal. It was enjoyable when we had larger turn outs for the shows but for me I just don't go as much - other responsibilities.

Unfortunately , I too agree with Joe .... :(

Few people understand the work & responsibility  that goes along with that trailer ...

You guys still want me to bring the apple slice???
I can provide the plates / forks & napkins  but cannot watch over it for the weekend ...

I'm torn so I'm not giving an option but will offer safe, indoor storage for it for the winter.

Are we on the path of selling the BBQ?  Funds for the Crosley project?

Can we outsiders get an update on the Crosley Project in that thread?

Figured I'd ask this here:

What is a value - price on the BBQ trailer?  I'd have no idea, never dealt with an item like this.

The fond memory of reaching into Enjenjo's pants, making change when the BBQ trailer was in Wendover UT.  First n last time I saw the trailer in person.

I have no idea how much the BBQ is worth. Similar size units with a gas grille and rotisserie are in the $3100 to $3500 range new.
