Well today was a wash :!:  I had good intentions but then the kid called (again!).. How bout we use your truck and haul the baby bed :?:  Ok but its freezin rain and i havent started it for 2 days and the tonneau cover hasnt been on for a week cause im lazy and didnt pull it in and put it on :!: Well out to the truck fire it up tunr the defrost on high and head to the garage. Kids come get the truck haul the stuff i clean the garage. Kids bring the truck back im still cleaning and taking pics of stuff that i need to put on egay :!:  I get everything done then i look at the bench grinder ive got that is nice but it dances all over the bench so i bolt it down and thats done. (why have it if you cant use it)

I sure hope so cause it keeps the texans honest. The engine looks good and the compartment would rellay be nice with some chrome Fresh Fish horns under there.. and the girls will hear you comming better. Seems some of them down there dont hear so well anymore

Pretty close...
I bought it up in Pensacola, where it sat outside through 2 hurricanes. The previous owner just about soaked the entire thing in undercoating to protect it because he didn't have a garage. So I've been scraping crud from it for the last 4 months. I guess you could call it a rescue project.

Thanks dude. Yeah it has wool carpet. The trunk has an outdoor felt material. Supposedly weather proof. One of the old local upholstery guys told me about it and ordered me some. It's alot easier to work with than vinyl, and I couldn't find any of that fine Michigan "tweed" I hear about.

Ain't no blue hairs ridin' shotgun in this barge. It wouldn't match with the maroon...

I thought about a set of those railroad horns, but it would probably fry the generator.

The old Pontiacs had the Chief emblem as a logo, taken after Chief Pontiac from up around Detroit. That's what I thought he meant.

I've got mix and match parts on it. The chrome rock guards behind the rear wheels and the steering wheel are from a Starchief, there's 860 and 870 stuff on it, and some 56/57 items as well. The parts are so few in any decent shape, I had to go with what I could find. The door sill plates are actually 55 Chevy also.
Gotta finish the sound system and that's it for now.
