Man, this thread popped up out of nowhere. I had forgotten about it.

The little guy ended up moving back north with his mom not long after that. His mom and dad never did settle their differences, and actually got divorced.

The wierd thing is, is when the parents were together in front of me, they seemed fine. There was more going on behind the scenes there than I wanted to get involved in, so I kept my distance and my nose out of it.

I actually got the bike back, because dad took off before moving day, and mom had no way of taking it with her.

I had the thing for about a month or so after they left, when the pest control guy showed up one day and brought his daughter along with him. He always said if I built another one, would I do one for her. I told him what had happened and that I had gotten the bike back, and asked him if he was still interested.  We went out to the garage, his daughter took one look at it, hopped on it and rode it like a pro the first time out, so I gave it to her.  As far as I know, she still has it... :D

Thanks, but I had as much fun building it as he did riding it.
I had to give it away anyway-I looked like a dork riding on it...(but at least I was a cool dork with a chopper...!!) 8)  :D
