My wife and I went to a grandson's graduation last August, and we both got covid, although we've had all our shots and boosters.  Now, I think I got long covid, as I tire really easily.  No problems other than that, sometimes taking two naps a day.  Not the way I want to spend my retirement.

^^^We went to a restaurant  for lunch today, and there was an S10 pickup in the parking lot sitting on the ground, and my wife asked about it.  I told her it was bagged and they do that so it can sit on the ground when they park it.  I've got to say, your's is sitting much lower than that S10.^^^

Lowdown truck in the grass

Meanwhile my project gains height. This feels like cheating, with so much new metal. For a Bronco it doesn't seem to be bucking me very hard. :)

Breakfast the other day.. I parked on the end. About 5 empty spaces to the left of the Honda car..  After the olde Phart parked his truck, there were 4 empty spaces there. PLus he is almost over the line into my parking space. He was a real geezer, 80s plus. Mayb the end spot was his usual parking spot and I whizzed him off?

I'm just lookin for my eight seconds then I hop off. Wonder how a pair of them bedsides, lower quarters or whatever would look like hung off the sides of your bed frame. Dig it though, the satin finishes seem to have caught on.

At Speedway Motors Museum in Nebraska today...  Huge place. There is so many engines, tools, toys, cars, signs, photos, and other items to look at !

I did something I seldom do:  I bought an item from the gift shop.  A new hat for my bald head.

Lincoln is my home town. I could have give you a hat for free. Have several of them from the freebies they give out sometimes. I don't like wearing a hat but now I have a chunk removed from my head doc says I need to. You still around or down the road?

Thanks...  We are down the road.  Basically wondering around loose on this trip.  The museum was a bucket list item...  Get a few things done before I kick the bucket?  Is that why its called a bucket list?

Yesterday, we went to my wife's ex-husbands funeral (I got along very well with the guy).  He drove a late model Audi that he really liked.  Seems that it's a tradition in Chicago that the hearse drives past your house on the way to the cemetery.  His younger son had parked his dads' Audi at an angle in the driveway in front of the garage. Nice touch.

I am rebuilding a 78 Camaro rear end. It needs new brake shoe adjusters. The same adjusters fit many models from 1964 to 1996. No dice. Special order and a week out for delivery. SMH

I am packing the bearings on my Impala and need wheel seals.  Fit disk brake full sized gm from 67 - 70 and Corvettes from 68 to 81.  Same thing, special order, and can't even get 2 from the same warehouse.  Hope the second will get here today.

Finishing up my yard art project.  I have just a a couple of things to do and it will be done.  This one is on a tubing frame with caster wheels so that it can be moved easily for mowing or to change locations.

Don't be fooled by this pic, everything is just screwed together and in the week's final five minutes a door and hinges went on. Sort of. Now the fitting fun begins.
