Tried a new thing for kicks, made a couple custom crossword puzzles. Any of ya into those? I kinda hate crosswords but Dad swears by em as mind sharpeners just like his Dad. It'd be fun to crank out a rod-oriented one but I know nobody needs the brain drain. Run through this one and tell the ones you think you know the answers for, it'll help me know if I should make crosswords or not.  :)

Its Chevelle-oriented so theres a sportin chance for some of you.

One item on an RV that needs attention is the water heater if you have a Suburban brand heater. There is an anode to be replaced in the unit.

Its best to remove the anode and use a flushing tool (long plastic tube on a water hose) to fluch crud out.

In the 3rd photo, you can see where I had the bucket setting (round spot)  to catch the debris. Lots of debris missed the bucket (white stuff on ground).

2nd photo is the anode rod from my water heater.  I need to service this more often.

Last photo is where I parked the RV temporary. $15.00 a day with electric and water, sewer... Its close to our park model location.

We held our school car show again this Saturday. First time since covid . We had about 75 cars attend . It was a good day . Someone asked me if I could make him a gas tank like the one I made for the chopper . I am too busy , offered to let him make a paper pattern from mine . Nice to know it looks `good enough to copy . I also went to a bike swap meet and picked up a fe`w `part`s` for the chopper .

I stumbled on an ebay auction for  60's shelby gt 350-500 parts catalog with some dealer documentation that I didn't know existed. With a few seconds to go it went from $1826 to $4850. There were 2 bidders that were active. I was surprised. :) The Indy 500 ending was a surprise also. This was the 1st year in decades that I listened on radio. None of the live feeds were available to me, a non-tv guy. :)

I started burning the Sticky Willy weeds that I spent three days collecting. It sitcks to everything, including itself.  I also spent another two days pulling it in another part of my yard (this is all on a hillside).  I still have another two piles to burn when they dry out a bit. Seems this likes to grow from the bottom of hills upward. I can grab a few strands with a garden rake, and it pulls a whole bunch of it down, as it sticks to itself.  The root is about as thick as a large sewing needle, so it pulls out easily.  It blankets all the plants that it grows over. Worst year ever.
I survived the Hyfrecator 2000.

We are in the AZ mountains. I shoved the RV into its spot. Only took one straighten up to get the RV in place.

Kool temps up here. Mid 40s at night, 70s in the day time so far. It should warm up about 10 degrees on night and day temps.

Couple photos show how the RV sits and the attack angle to back it in to place.

worked on the chopper tonight. Making a plate to mount the jack shaft to . 1/8" plate welded all around should make an adequate mount I hope ? 6x9 plate , mounts will be 4" long at the base bolted with 6-3/8" bolts , the mount pedestals will be about 6" apart . What do you think ?

I see that Showlow is on highway US 60.  Tony just needs to head straight east on 60 to find me as I am just a mile and a half off of US 60.  Its like we are neighbors :)

Today was an exercise in futility, one of the kind that do  a lot of mental damage. It is difficult to maintain a progress curve in that respect and no further project progress can be expected rest of this week due to work circumstances beyond my control. Suprise, suprise on that eh.

By the way I wrote up a rod oriented crossword to lay on you guyzzers, almost finished entering the data and wiped it out via soft keyboard fat fingering. Still have it in pencil. Meh. Today I was still having to explain words from the done one I posted.

Depressed :)

I did a weld yesterday that I'll show. Momentum from raise and long weekend are snuffed but I got one effective day in. Like WZ said, life is good. A possibility did exist for me to have been in a worse place at a worse time today so I'm running with that thought but tomorrow and Friday both suck from here. Hope you-alls are more gooder. :)
