I believe that is a political decision and not a scientific decision. In many other countries people wear masks routinely to protect others, but in this country there seems to be a problem with that.

I am not sure where science begins and ends here any more.

We have plastic shields in place at cashier checkout lanes. Yet the cashier handles each item as it is scanned. With a mask on often.  Altho in AZ masks on employees has dropped off a good amount recently.

I read (LOL) that if you can smell a fart thru your mask , the virus droplets can get thru too?  When I rip a fart , you can smell it thru my underwear and Levi pants? I view the fart-mask theory as internet bs.

I've never understood the mask program in a restaurant. You had to wear a mask as you walk 22 feet to a table. Then take the mask off after sitting down.  Never made  sense to me.

In the mean time:  I try to keep distance from pl when possible. If a mask is required at a business, I do not go to that place.  I was at Walmart here today. Walmart is requiring employees to wear masks again.  Strongly asking customers to wear a mask.  Ruff guess is less than half of the customers today were wearing a mask. Some older couples : one would wear a mask , the other not.

I feel sorry for families trying to figure out their school strategies.

Have not put my mask on since fully vaccinated. Everyone can panic to the level they desire. Governor is bucking to reinstate emergency measures. Most local church members will never get shots.

I got my medical cannabis card this week and that pretty much fixes everything.  >

Well, my wife worked at a polling place for a local election on Tuesday from 6:15 a.m. till about 8:15 p.m. Today the city clerks office calls and says one of her co workers that day now has Covid....great....no good deed goes unpunished. At least we're vaccinated. 😒

The video of vaping and various masks..  Is what I experienced with basic masks as I painted my brothers interior of his house 1 year ago.  I had paint traces all around my nose and lips after suing the masks all day with an airless sprayer.

I would agree the mask discussion with parents and school staff can be tense.  I still feel the school and parents need to be making that decision.  Not the governor or higher politician.  Keep it in the hands of parents. No mask , the kids can stay home if the school requires a mask. Not the situation some parents want, I admit to not knowing the better route.

I was at Home Depot (again) today... I received a couple of stern looks from people with masks on. I was not sure how to take the looks.

Dangdest thing but like regular I spoke too soon. Stopped in a less side grocery store Friday, woops mask for all. Did not have mine but zipped in n out. For the week's provisions, to the more side store and no mask for vac'd but had it on already. And off it came. Strike two for me not knowing whats going on.

I believe our state last week landed on a mask mandate ban concerning schools. I think that represents this land squarely but does shift the responsibility load from gov't to individual. Numbers here are far from promising.

Plus, dang lost a second cousin yesterday. She made about a day on the ventilator.

Speaking of which, that Californiorado smoke is thick over here. Been that way a week or two, seems like. Gack!

If you folks read or listen to comments on the Wuhan flu.. there are endless comparisons out there.

Some folks claim that kids without masks can not attend in class learning is bullying the child. Its child abuse. Some folks are calling AZ Gov Doug a murderer for not requiring masks in school rooms, on campus.

Vaccine choice is now the same as abortion:  My body , my choice on women.

If you want to wear a mask: please do so.  Wear a lamp shade with eye holes cut out to see. Do what makes you feel safe and ignore the politicians.

My wife goes out with a good friend that has asthma . They both wear masks and social distance from others. Both of them are vaccinated.

Ah yes lets bring this thread up..  Where we travel in AZ..  More masks are worn again. Same confusing pattern for my viewing. I can walk into a bizness and older couples will have a mask on one person , not the other. People will have  the mask half on their face, nose uncovered, mouth covered.

We walked into a Home Depot (again) yesterday. Every person in the electrical aisle had a mask on cept me. One aisle over the opposite was happening, no masks were worn..

i see the online photos of kids in a classroom , masks on, space between desks.. then a photo of a sporting event. People grouped tightly, some wear a mask.  A bit confusing to this olde guy. Yet a vaccine is not approved for young children as for the vaccine for adults.

In AZ we have court actions happening on mask mandates. Gov Doug says there can be no mask mandates.  Schools in various locations are requiring masks. Now the AZ Attorney General is in legal action towards some school districts o their mask mandates. I still say the parents and schools need to work this out.

We now have a vaccine type  mandate for biznesses with 100+ employees. Of course the DC crowd removes themselves from that mandate?  Weird?     I could go on, but you folks see the same information  and stuff happening out there.

Numbers reported on the chinese virus 2.0 here in AZ is not real good.  Also reported is the children in schools with no mask requirements have higher % of cases than schools with a mask required.. Then I read that some schools have same % numbers of cases with or without masks worn?  I just try to stay away from most of the news.

Finger pointing is good here. Lawyers seem to be winning. People are suing over mask mandates, suing over the orders of No mask mandates allowed. Schools ignore the governor orders or lack of orders.

We got our booster shot Monday.  No problems except I seem to be tired all yesterday.  It may be from the shot or I might be in recovery from last week.

My wife was at a local Walgreens trying to get a script taken care of..  Long story there.

There was a long line for the booster shots for the chinese virus..  My wife said there was a "walk in" line and an apointment line. Of course folks had that mixed up. The Walgreens only had the Phifzer vaccine. Signs were up and the staff were mentioning that often my wife said. Yet ppl were standing in line, then asking for the Moderna vaccine. Then they would get irrate when told "We do not have the Moderna vaccine"

I got the high dose flue shot and pneumonia shot on Monday. I am ache from that. I'm not ready for the chinese virus booster yet.

One of my employees was diagnosed with COVID on the first. Yesterday he was moved to ICU and declared in critical condition. Hoping for the best.
