Matt, the truck brought 206,250. :) I normally don't have much to add to this because it's easy for me to avoid most contact. I have a new neighbor south of me. They moved in about 2 months ago. I took the trash out an hour ago and counted 12 cars. From the sounds, I think they are all inside the house having a gathering. My town is very active with covid right now. Many have no fear.

My wife took me for a ride in the 460/ Ranger late this afternoon.  She took us up the rural road that runs along the river to the north.  Nice to have a wife that likes to drive or ride in hot rods.

As a side note.  When we drove through town they were lining up for the Christmas parade.  Not a mask in site.   We are scheduled to drive the 54 in a small town parade next Saturday night.  I am trying to come up with a mask to hang on the grille.  It needs to be about 12" by 24" to cover the center of the grille.  I have a few days to come up with something.

WZ JUNK, how about an old pillow case for a mask?

Last night we watched the StarLink satellites fly over our place. There was 18 to 20 all in a row. Just before they showed up, we saw the International Space Station fly over. We watched the satellites fly over again tonight, but this time there were about 40. We came back into the house and saw that the ISS was going to be flying over again, so we went out again, but missed it. One of the astronauts in the ISS is an alumni of U of I college at Champaign, IL, and they were supposed to by flying over it.

Finished this piece this morning. It's a commission for local guy. He runs a local FB page promoting cruising, like the old days, in our town. I posted a painting on the page and he asked about doing his car....now there is a line forming for commissions! Plus a guy came into the Gallery where I have several pieces and wants to commission two motorcycle pieces for next Christmas! Oh, there's also the book cover, the fourth one, for a local friend/author. I should be busy this Winter! ! 😄

That's a great way to end a dismal year! :)

O&S is getting around to a project that requires some more learning. I removed the seat form the 72 that came from a 1990 F150. It was worn when I bought it. I ordered some black material a few weeks ago and removed it today. I have the bottom disassembled. It had lumbar supports which proved to not be difficult to disconnect. It had some listing wires which I expected. Then I found what I would call industrial strength velcro. :) There will be a lot of measuring before cutting material. This is a simple geometry project. I'll see how complicated I can make it. :)

You can get rolls of Velcro from McMaster Carr.
Welcome to hell. Here's your accordion.

Frank, I usually keep rolls of velcro for interior work. Usually to hold door panels and other trim panels on. :)
I didn't make much progress today. The bottom is cut apart and I have weights on part of it to flatten it out to make pattern making easier. It takes quite a while to retrieve all of the articles for sewing and put them in place. :)

Tile install on my block fence.  I started this process about 16 yrs ago.  I am just now finishing the last pillar that is next to the house wall.

I actually finished 10 other pillars 16 yrs ago... this last one is mostly out of sight unless you go looking for it.

It is a PITA to do.  One tile at a time so far. I cut the support plywood down each time I need to set another tile.

then on to the front porch cover roof repair.  Rotted woood and new rolled roof material will be installed.

When do i get to retire?

Tony, you think you're busy now, just wait until you DO retire. You'll wonder how you ever found time to do things while you were working.

My wife and I made a mask for grille of the 54 to be used where social distancing would not be possible.  We plan to drive in a  Christmas parade Saturday night.

I LIKE IT !!! There should be an award for the largest mask somewhere. :)
I'm finished with the seat bottom. There are some wrinkles on the side panels that I hope relax with a little warm weather. I'm putting the seat back together and installing it in the truck. I disassembled the back to see how it's done. I got to the point of disassembling the arm rest assembly and decided to quit for now.  I need some time to think about what will need to be done to replace it. :)
