Quote from: "Crosley"Quik note:  I retired last week. A couple months earlier than planned. Details not important.

Spend my first week retired trying to source toilet paper.  Yippie.

There are no plans at the moment. My wife is 1+ yrs away from  retirement

Congratulations Tony. You'll love being retired.  Tom, what's the deal?

I got a new 22 rifle for my B'day, a couple months early. Tried it out today, can't see the sight at the end of the barrel. Took the scope off the pellet gun and got it zeroed in in just a couple tries.

Congratulations Tony. My friend here at work may do the same thing with all the social distancing going on he is being asked to work from home. Planned on retiring in May.
You never have time to do it right the first time but you always have time to do it again.

Congrats Tony! I have been retired over 11 years now and haven't found anything I don't like about it yet! 😜😄  Enjoy, I'm sure you earned it! 👍

Not really. Couple stores opened 1 hour early wednesday for ppl 65 and over.

I drove over to a store near me.. 4:47am , I could not find a place to park. PPL were sitting in the middle of the lanes in their vehicles because no place to park.

Tony I've been retired since 2008.  It's THE best job I've ever had

Congratulations, Tony. I know you've spent a couple of years planning and thinking about this. This has been a joke by others before me whose wife was still working. Make sure you're busy when she gets home. :)

Tony, best wishes on your retirement. I've been retired/retarded since 2012. Yogi (street rod parts guy) asked me how I liked it, I said I like everything except the lack of income.
grandchildren are your reward for not killing your teenagers!

We got home from North Carolina yesterday. I needed milk and Bread, found both at the local store. Today I went a got some more stuff, we are good for several weeks now.

Frank, I'm curious about which way you go to N.C. My daughter moved there 16 years ago and I have tried several routes. Using the Ohio Turnpike over to I-77 is probably the quickest, but most stressful and boring. I tried cutting the corner at Norwalk using Rt. 250 but too many towns and Amish buggies. Now I go to Findlay and down 23 to Columbus to 33 to Ravenswood W.V. About the same time s the Turnpike/expressway and much nicer drive.

It was a warm afternoon here. I did a few small items on the 78 and cleaned up the 51 from the coffee run in the rain on Sunday. The virus closings are changing everything more than 9-11. Everyday is something new and "what are they thinking" around us.
