The Ranger is back together again.  I plan to have the exhaust installed this week and fire the engine.  I made an aluminum roll pan for the rear where I eliminated the rear bumper. The list of stuff yet to do is short enough now that I can write it down on a clip board.

Hot Rod Magazine is taking entries starting at 12:00 noon EST this coming Saturday.  They expect to have the 400 entries in about 5 minuets.  I plan to go to my sons house and have him help me enter, if I make the final decision to enter.  It bothers me that I have to pay a $425 entry fee, that is non refundable, to an event that is 6 months from now.

It's turned into winter again. I'm next to a heater. :)

We received the 3-6 they predicted. I just finished cleaning the walks and drive and I'm ready for coffee. Days like this, the real old guys don't come out. The risk of falling is too great for them.

I got the exhaust on the Ranger yesterday and that went well, although like every thing else on this project, it was a tight fit.  Today I have a few things to finish up, and then I plan to fire the engine and break in the cam tomorrow.  If it all goes well, I should be able to go for a test drive soon.  I looking forward to answering the one word qustion that hot rodders ask, "Whatillshedo".

Fired up Vickie's truck last night for the first time in two week. Wiring is all routed correctly and I believe everything is working except the right turn indicator in the dash. I will look at that tonight and start cleaning up the mess in the garage. Then the fun part of putting new knobs, bezels and carpet in the truck.   );b(
You never have time to do it right the first time but you always have time to do it again.

What kind of seat belts are you looking for? two point or three point?
Welcome to hell. Here's your accordion.

Three point black if possible. Floor mounted on the inside and something that looks good on the outside. I think floor or b pillar will work on that side.
Getting hard to find stuff that's not attached to the seat or covered in plastic from the floor to the ceiling.  Not to mention air bag censors.

I'll take a look. I may have something.

Completed the sale of my larger set of Work tool boxes..  Co Worker bought the boxes, not the tools.

As I wheeled the boxes to his side of the room.. A few folks saw this.  they thought I was loading up my tools and leaving, done , quit, retired.  Guess I could cept: the boxes will not fit on my motorcycle easily.

Another co worker wants to buy my ratcheting arbor press and bushing driver set...  I told him today:  Better hurry up with the cash.  A second guy has "dibs" if the first does not perform.
