It was 54 degrees yesterday here in Nebraska with no snow. Haven't had any ice or snow where they salted or graveled the streets so I took the coupe out for a spin. It was a good day.

I had a little road trip today. 50 miles from home, I hit fog, drizzle, sleet, rain and snow for just a few miles. It cleared up to dry before I got to my destination. I sold the original seat out of the 72 and delivered it for gas money. :) 360 miles round trip. The buyer and his family own 7 67-72 trucks. :) Less stuff that I have no place to store. :)

After several days:  Caught the latest gopher in my front yard on thursday.  Between rain storms

It started to rain again late thursday evening... it has been a light rain All day friday.

My next door neighbor is having a large shindig friday evening after his daughters wedding.  Big tent in the back yard. They put 2 layers of plywood down under the tent for a floor. Dozen propane heaters in there.  Gonna be a large gathering.  His daughter is 20 or 21 as I recall.  Shame it has rained so much recently

My wife and I cleared out two small cheapie cabinets in the shop, took down the cabs, then moved a large metal wall cabinet in its' place. Seemed to be a lot heavier than when I put it up a few years ago...by myself.  I also rearranged some more stuff to give me more room. I still have too much stuff. A friend of mine stopped by (he saw my Ford sitting outside the shop) and chatted for a while. He is the guy who picks up all my scrap metal (all ferrous). I gave him some more.

No rain here, or snow, and the temp was in the high 40's, so it was a pretty nice day.

I hauled a load of scrap yesterday. 30 mile round trip, $100 a ton for shred. Not really worth it, but the trailer was full.
Welcome to hell. Here's your accordion.

Bob, get better soon. :)

I was thinking this week or next was it, so I checked the issue date on my 69 GP title yesterday and woops... glad I ain't married to her... our 20th anniversary was last week. Date was 12/20/99. Fortunately, I do believe we had a swell outing that day. :)  Her's a good girl. So's her sisters, too. Over a decade with my GT now, and at six years with the GTP. Shameless Pontiac plug? Nah. Self explanatory fact. If I were an FM radio station, my slogan would be "All Grand Prix. All the time."

Helped two other friends try to put a headliner in a 57 ford fairlane 500. 4.5 hours of struggling and it was a no go. We quit before we damaged the new headliner.

I worked on my version of cal trac bars for the Ranger truck today.  All the pieces are made, I will do a little welding tomorrow and then post some photos.  I do not think they make cal tracs for Rangers, I have not seen any advertised.  They usually cost about $400 for most applications.  Mine will be about $50 and 3 days labor.

In the morning I will attend the funeral of a hot rod buddy of mine.  He did all my transmission work for the last 20 years or so.  A good man but the big C was hard on him.  He worked until a couple of weeks ago.

I moved stuff around in the basement, as Lowe's is bringing our new upright freezer tomorrow, and will need a pathway. Stupid freezer lasted 10 years and a month. Last time I had a service guy here, he said that they are made to last 8 - 10 years. I just caught this one before everything thawed. Tired of messing with it.
