Lunch break at really O&S. :) I made a new dome light based upon the crown vic's trunk light. Then I made a tunnel to protect the wiring on the trans tunnel. The seat back is in for the 1st time since disassembly. I'm working on wiring for the ac, now.

End of the day. TB has set in. The wiring to the ac has been completed short of the binary switch and compressor clutch. I checked operation of the heater valve and all the evaporator functions. The truck is back on the ground for the 1st time in at least 3 weeks. I cleaned the shop and removed un-needed items to storage.

This evening's lovely task was gluing weatherstripping on. Not something to be in a hurry on. :)

I like that color. To my taste there aren't nearly enough blue cars.

Weak update. I finished gluing the door seals across the bottom. I wanted to make sure the rest was good before finishing. I cleaned the sill plates some. They aren't good but they had overspray and toxic waste on them when I started. :) Tonight, I moved the truck under it's on power with brakes for the 1st time. Slowly moving forward. :)

I pulled the gauge cluster for what I think will be the last time. I removed the cluster and re-soldered some connections on the odometer. It works now. Who knows how long. :) Because I needed to put some night lights above the instruments, I ordered some pigtails for 194 bulbs. They are above the gauges so they add some light but I don't think enough to be overpowering. I decided to make a cut on the lexan to make it flush mount with the metal face holding the cluster. Didn't make as much difference as I hoped. I bought a matching lock set so I changed out the ignition tumbler while I was at it. No more 2 key operation for this. :)

Any added floor area interior lights?  Back 'in the day"  , I added floor lights when possible.  I always liked added lights so you could find stuff in the dark... just sayin.  Looks good.  I check in on your work each day when you post.  thx

It looks great! 8)  Go, KB!

I like the stark contrast inside, it really pops.    And its the inverse of GM muscle with black and white interiors.

Another crafty and timely build, like it was nothing. Amazing. :D
