Local gasoline prices

3.39 for the last week or so.

Only the second time I've gotten to put gas in my new(er) truck. Paid 3.559 in Marietta and got to figure gas mileage and it's just over 20 MPG. Drove to Cincinnati and it's a good thing it's got a 19gallon tank. Gas at the Shell station that's usually a penny cheaper than the station next to it was 3.599.

This morning that Shell station was 3.459 . I'll check it before I leave town and "Top It Off" at tht price. GPster

  GPster..I almost bought a Ranger 4x4 too. As did the fuel economy of Ford's 1 ton 4x4 crew cabs turn me off. So did the Rangers. I have only met..and talked to VERY HAPPY! Owners of BOTH of these vehicles. Albeit I have not actually met and talked to one that spit plugs.

 Someone that worked for me bought a 2006 GM small truck. A Colorado.
This guy is CHEAP=NO options. 4 cyl,standard.He thought it was the greatest truck in the world. Bought it mid way through 2007. $22,000 new.

  Early 2009. "Brakes aren't coverrred"..the emergency brake is an
"assembly". $700.  Not long after..out of warranty of course. F Whl brng.
with abs sensor..$1100. He only did the one. Then the headlight pod broke off. $600. Then the other whl brng strted to get noisy. Then he had further abs problems.

  It got 25mpg HWY CDN. Pretty much empty.At 55mph..because one of us followed the other.
Putting even 800lbs in this vehicle was NOT possible. I know because he worked for me and I helped load it and paid for the gas.

Dropped to $3.34 yesterday.  That means Costco is $3.28.

3.30 a gallon for regular  tonite at local Costco to me

Just put $47.18 of premium in my 61 Chrysler at $3.439, looked like regular is going for $3.189

This after T-Vicky worked thru a short in my lighting system in it.

Dropped to 3.25 this morning.

We had slowly edged all the way down to $3.33 over a two week period then in four hours it went to $3.56 on Tuesday.
