Local gasoline prices

I got a $40 gift card for Christmas from a local Quik Trip shop.

Took my 67 Dodge Charger in for a fillup. Used the entire gift card and another gallon to fill it up at $3.229 for premium.

Looked like $2.98 for regular

Paid 2.96 at local Costco a day ago... Keep in mind, when I post a price, I round 'up' from the .9 ...  so a $2.95.9 is at 2.96 a gallon to me.

months ago, a QT gas station opened on Val Vista road about 2 miles from Costco.  I have noticed they seem to match regular gasoline price of Costco.   I dont know if that is on purpose or just happens.  IF Costco is lower, it is only 1 or 2 pennies.

A  friend of mine  would round down from a price of an item.  $2.95.9 is 2.95 to him.  A price of $7.95 is 7 dollars to him. That always seemed odd to me, he thought I was weird (I am) because I round 'up'

Here in central Illinois, the price got as low as $3.05, but is now $3.11 in my town, but $3.33 in the nearby towns.
