jumped up .25 today to $4.10....because of the hurricane in the Gulf....

$3.45 at the local costco. I didn't fill as I have grocery store points to use which will save me 40 cents a gallon  will be filling in a day or two.

I was lucky to fill up early this afternoon at $4.249....It's up to $4.499 in most places now ...     :evil:  

  The news is saying it will go higher due to the hurricane ...  


I wonder what would happen if everybody quit watching the news  :?:

Paid 3.46  last night.  Same place went up 8 cents.  Probably up again today.

Since there is a hurricane in florida, I can see how the west coast is affected too.

Paid 3.50 tonite.  Diesel is at 4 bucks a gallon.

Goldwing is getting about 37 - 38 mpg...  I run the bike some what hard (fast) at times.

it has kooled off slightly lately...  104 - 107*F  lately

The hurricane must be over, it dropped all the way to $4.01 today! Funny how they raise it several day before the hurricane in the gulf "in anticipation" but afterward they must not "anticpate" that the hurricane is gone and they are back at work on the oil platforms.

$3.65 yesterday with my credit card discount - get a nickel off if I use my Chevron card, and that makes the station I use competitive with the independents.

I paid 3.60 a gallon this morning at Costco...  about 2 miles away the new QT gas station is the same price
