Local gasoline prices

Saw it at $3.66 at a 7-Eleven yesterday, and at the Chevro across the street, it was $3.74.  Creeping up, slowly.

$3.87 this morning for 87 octane. It's been taking a .12-.14 hop every few DAYS here for the last several weeks...up close to .50 only a short time.

$4.159 yesterday ..... $4.149 today ... I teased the owner about his "loss of income" by 0.01 a gallon ... He said that he prefers to adjust to his tanker cost price ... His profit is fixed per gallon ... LOTS of places still at $4.25 per gallon ...  Looking forward to K-Zoo & some "inexpensive" gas ....

Regular went up about $0.25 today. I went to lunch with a couple car guys and caught Sam's still at $3.93/9 on the way home so got 3/4 of a tank to top up the Bullitt. Since Sam's is only about 4 miles from the house I went right back with the Trailblazer for another 13 or 14 gallons.

Gas went up here in S.E. Michigan  AGAIN!   $4.05 to $4.19.  This is crazy!

Paid $3.69 near Traverse City today and it's $4.20 in Paradise in the U.P. Funny how things can sometimes be. In Traverse I saw $3.69 and directly across the street someone was pumping gas into their car at $3.96

Right now out in LA reg gas is approching 6.00 a gal! There's something very wrong about that!

well... i just bought 25 bucks worth at 5.19/9 for mid grade near the peterson museum..  got 4.8 gallons..

seems the winter fuel change over comes at the end of this month...

and for some reason.. there is NOT enough summer fuel left in the tank farms to sell.  so they created an artificial shortage.. drove the price up...

all goes back to that wonderful interview with G43 and matt lauer a few years back... where matt ask G43 about the rising price of gas... G43 leaned back and chuckled..  then said.. i guess the american public will just have to learn the hard way how supply and demand works.. then leaned way back and laughed..
