Looks like an H grill. Maybe a Super H.

Tractor grills belong on tractors.

I kinda like a well-done tractor grill.  There are a lot of hack jobs with tractor grills, however, proving that it takes a little thought to make it work.  I'm also a big fan of track nosed rods.  Any leads on what's going to trail that grill?

yup, that's a farmall grill. The slot next to the bottom is a give away for sure, and the two round holes near the top were for cultivator brace rods. You will find more Farmall grills missing the insert at the bottom than ones with them. I had an H for my first tractor. That one pictured looks to be in decent shape. if you want the insert I may be able to get one here in town just let me know the length and highth as the Farmall M grill looks the same only slightly bigger all around. I can check on a price for either one if you want, only takes a free local phone call.

heck...  I've got a 170 cid Ford 6 engine.  It'll smoke the tail pipe and  toss a 1/2 quart of oil on the tire.

I'll hang the   grill on the shop wall for now.

Looks like we're heading down the same road Tony. I've benn gathering parts for this for a couple years.  Set this up in the garage  about a week ago. Going to be a single seater, with a 2.3 Ford  four banger, banjo rear, 32 front axle, and '35 wires. Any guesses on the grillshell? It's an easy one. Gotta narrow the frame six inches too.

Yup about a '39, at least it is the same as our '39 at deer camp, but i think they made them several years

Unstyled Allis WC, 39 or earlier.

It looks too deep to be an A/C B. Maybe a WC.

You guys throwing those big names around. I was building a "T" track roadster back in the early '80s and used a grill shell of a Cockshutt. Used a fiberglass body on a frame made from the back half of a Model "A" frame and the front half of an International Scout frame. Used a 200" six and a C4 but sold it to pay for a car for our daughter. I'll be real interested to find out what you guys use for radiators behind those shells. GPster
