Vega.. Turns sharper .. You can do a rack and use a different tie rod end for a cross steer and get a little more turning radius but id just go with a vega and be done..

I like the Unisteer and it is what I put in the 32 roadster.  It slightly decreases the turning radius but it is not a problem.  You probably would not notice it if you had not driven a similiar car with a Vega box.  They look nicer and the big factor is that they are cheaper than the Vega.

Charlie Chops drove the roadster I built and he did not care for the steering but I am not suprised that some like it and some do not.  He has been the only one that I know of that has driven the car and did not like the way that it steered.  I like people to drive cars that I build and critique them and so I have had several drive the car and they all liked it but Charlie.  Charlie may have much finer senses for steering.

I would go with the Unisteer again.  I bought the last one through Williams Street Rods in Illinois.  I buy a lot of stuff from them.  They have been good to me.  http://www.williamsstreetrods.com/

John, that made me laugh.

I can't explain it, I just like the Vega box "feel" better. The rack system felt like it needed more wheel input to steer the car the same amount and the turn wasn't as tight.

The roadster drove just fine, though. I think this becomes one of those purely subjective issues...kinda like brand preference. I like the Circle Bar B...you like the Circle J.
