un-polishing wheels

would like to un-polish a pair of centerlines, what would you guys suggest?

steel wool?
brillo pad?
scotchbrite?

mag choride :lol: ?
The last thing I want to do is hurt you. But it\'s still on my list

scotchbrite but a very light sand blast or glass bead works too

I had some pretty beat up al. rims for my wifes car. and I tried sanding them and realized they had a coating, I got some paint remover forget the brand and it removed what appeared to be a clearcoat and revealed decent wheel under the beat up clear. But now need to be polished for a good shine. Ed

took my new cruizers to the powder coater and had em blasted and titanium header coating put on them
