Signed up a few years ago but havent posted much, thought I would step up and say hello as I see some great cars and projects on here.  I'm on the hamb too (my31and37) and recognize some of you from there, my cars are a 37 Slantback Tudor Ford with 350/700R4 and a 31 Ford roadster on 32 rails. Its running  a 63 vette 327 / tripower/4speed. I'm almost finished with the rebuild after Katrina got ahold of it, in fact this weekend should be my first drive, not able to post pics yet, but will add them when I can. If you read SRM you might remember the pics of the roadster after the hurricane. anyway I plan to check in more frequently to learn and offer help if I can.....Mike

I do remember your pictures of the aftermath. Hard to conceive of what you have gone thru. Glad things are getting back toward normal. Joe

Thanks Joe, it was a mess but I fared better than most.  My home survived,  the 7' of water inside could have torn it apart, made for a bit of work, but definitely not complaining.  Just hope its a looooooong time before the next one.
