Basic spark plug wires

i need a set of plug wires for my sbc in the Dodge...

Basic small block , cast iron manny folds(under the spark plugs), MSD ignition - dizzy with the old style dizzy cap we knew for decades.

I check with Summit online to see what wires are out there now.

I did not know there were near 1178 different sets of wires available now! About 9 different diameters of wire... from 30 bucks to 100+ bucks.

I need to get out more often

For my money, it's hard to beat taylor wires. for your setup, black 8mm 90 degree you cut to length would be nice. Summits number is TAY-79051

I know. I want to buy a black set for my T, with one end not installed so I can custom make the length. All I am seeing is Yellow, Red, etc. and lots of different diameters.

Guess I am going to just have to go to the local speedshop and tell them what I want.

those TAY-79051 ... 10.4mm wires be $110.00 a set... listed as the "pro race set"

I just put a set of red Accel 8mm super stock spiral wires on my Pontiac about 2 months ago. 90* dizzy end, straight plug boot. #5040. They have the widest application too as far as fitting GM motors from 55 to mid 80's.
$49.99 plus tax at Advanced Auto Parts.

I just did the black Taylor wired on my Impala 135* ends and custom length. Sure like the looks, but they are noisier than my old yellow Accell wires were on the radio.

Must be the wrong number. I thought they were 8mm black with 90 degree boots. try TAY-70051

I have had good luck with taylor wire from ebay cut to length and put ends on at very good prices. have bought several sets so far. Was having problem with boot arcing and short at maifold. Ed ke6bnl
