UGLY OLDS

Quote from: "Roadstar"Hairpins are SO-Cal Speed shop. They are 32" from the center of the front clevis bolt to the center of the frame mounting bolt.

I think they are just right in length, I know they are longer than the ones that TCI sells, those look too short when I see them.

The Speedway ones I have seen are 27" or they sell a Curtis style hairpin  that is 36" but it is a paralell bar design.

Thanks...I have the 27" Speedway set & they look a little "short" ...I may have to reconsider that part of the car...BV

Hey Randy, yeah after reading about that last year I thought it would be a way cool event,, I am so tired of the big events anymore.

Maybe next year. YOU have fun and make sure you share some pic here with us.

Lookin good.

I especially like the belled frame holes.

I just finished a body rack so I have somewhere to store the body on my 31.
It comes off next week so I can do some plumbing and wiring.

How did you do the bell?

Boxing plates are from Ionia Rod shop, Denny and Matt, two if the best chassis builders in the midwest if not the best in the land.

They are done in a press with a form they made,,, really nicely done too, and they will sell sections or the whole one piece rail boxing piece.

Hey Rudy,
