Street legal drag tires

It seems like I've asked this before, oh well thats what happens smelling to much burning rubber and now for the question!  I'm wanting to buy a pair of drag tires for the el camino that I can drive on legally and will stick when I'm on the drag strip.  Any advice fully appreicated.  I was thinking maybe BF Goodrich G-force and M/T street drag radials.

You will have rapid wear and slippery when wet, but in dry striaght line racing they are great. They are not suited to winding roads. There are also tires that work for sports type cars that may work to, but may be better suited to daily driving. Go to: www.TireRack.com for tire info

I think Firestone makes "cheater slicks" for racing.
Another thing, was watching pimp my ride and saw some tires that they put on a car that when you did the burn out, the smoke came out bright pink! It looked pretty cool!

YES, Bright Pink! and tons of smoke! They put some hot motor (something they normally don't do) in some chicks Firebird they painted it pink and put these tires on it that they said would light up and blow colored smoke! They showed it! They almost burned the tires off the darn thing! Even I didn't believe it!
