Generic wire diagram on altenator

Lets say i want to wire up a small import alt on an american engine...  what are basic wires to hook up a regulator from scratch.


I've read guys have used a small honda alt with a chysler electronic regulator to provide charging system.

From what I can find, most Honda alternators have the regulator built in. Got a model on the honda alternator? Or an application?

nope.  Not too sure where I read about the setup I mention.  I've been reading stuff on V-8 Bugeye Sprites lately
