It seems like somebody here provided a source for thin wall mandrel-bent tubing. I need to buy some bends to use in fabricating my dash. I'm looking for probably 1-2" steel, wall thickness less than .125. Any suggestions? I'm going to look around local and see if I can find somebidy with a good bending setup, but if that fails I'll mail-order what I need.

Thanks,

I bought some from J C Whitney and was pleased with the mandrel made bends in it. There doesn't seem to be any crushing or ovaling in the bends I got. It may be a little less quality pipe than what you might get from someone that sells header kits but the qualit still would be over-kill for a dash. You could always make a replica of the dash in oak and beat a flat sheet of steel over it's form. GPster
