Yeah, the 55 was stunning, thats what I put on the judging sheet anyway :D

It broke my heart that it didn't start. That car would have done alot better if it had run.

In fact the Rules say a inop car will be reverted one place in judging. That car was first place in the class when judged but moved to 2nd because of a technicality. Just incase anyone wondered.

Rudy, I'm really surprised it didn't start.  Richard does some great work.  His previous 55 hardtop was a joy to explore. All kinds of details all over the car.  Nothing like this one though. He is anal about everything on his builds.  
I'd bet he was just devastated.

No, and to tell you the  truth I'm not sure I would want that task.

I've been a staff judge for about 15 years on and off.

I don't jugde when I have one of my own cars in the show.
