Greetings,

I'm looking for a truck that my Dad built for his bodyshop  in Hollywood in the 1950's.  It's a chopped 1949 Ford Pickup.  At last siting, it was orange/red with flames, and seen at a Tulsa, OK, car show. My father has passed on, and I would like to try to purchase this truck and restore it to original.

You can see pictures  at: http://www.debbyporter.com/chuck-porter/49-chuck-porter-truck.jpg

Thank you for any information or help that you can give me,

Never saw it in flames, but I have seen it at the Bob's Big Boy cruise night here in Burbank, CA. Last I saw the truck it was metalic red/burgundy. I thought it was here locally a year or so ago.

Send them a note. Someone in that club should know where it's at.
