So I'm using the complete wiring harness from my Z28 donor. The one thing I forgot to grab was the VATS module. I can buy a new one for something like $150. I have another VATS module from a Monte Carlo. I can get a key made with the resistance from the MC and the shape of my key. Cost about $50 for each key. I can get a VATS bypass module for about $25. I was planning on keeping the VATS for the anti-theft benefit.

Any opinions?

Myself, I would eliminate it. Just my opinion.

Look on e-bay they sell a module for about 15 or 20 bucks to get rid of it

When the VATS is functioning , all is good.

When there is a problem , the VATS is a major PITA to deal with.

i'd remove it
