interesting week in my tranny world

it's been one of those weeks...

customers complaining left and right and in the middle.

cutomer brought in his stude truck with a 700 shift problem...... his TV linkage was all messed up , not proper design / geometry. not our fault

Another  customer on the phone  started telling my boss some 'tips' on building a t-350 tranny to pass along to the builders at Hughes.  My boss explained that the builders have 15 to 30 years each of experience.  The fellow got upset over that for some reason.

A fellow drove his truck in from northern AZ with problems.  He was upset with the whole tranny.  We check the truck out, my boss calls him.... " it is NOT our tranny, you need to chat with the company that installed it".  

Our sales manager and the General manager were not too pleased  with some company that sell their trannys labeled as our stuff.  phone calls were made....

One of the owners of Hughes got his caddy limo running.  it will be a Mexico beach cruiser.

that is it, I am through rambling.

One nice thing about my job is, if they complain too loud, I just start an I.V. and give them a little "happy juice".

In the past I have threatened to buy a paint ball gun and bring it to work.

I know someone would be PO'd if I actually used the paint ball gun.  There would be a memo or some other thing.

I feel you bro, we had to remove the P.A. systems from all our Ambulances because of an "incident" with a bad driver.

this week , a semi ran over a fire hydrant behind our shop.  It's been a while since I saw that much water coming out of the ground.

It was a large mess.  Cops were looking for the truck in the area.  We are located in a heavy industrial area
