Shiny new Rumbler...

Just got the car back from the painter on Friday. Pretty happy with the job. It's about 95% right, but that extra 5% would've cost me another 50%!!!

It's basically the same colour as before, but the painter seems to have forgotten what colour I told him it was, so he just mixed up his own. Turns out it's actually a bit nicer than before, a little more green in it I think.

Big news though is the flake job on the roof. I used House Of Kolor Abalone flake over a white base. Painters did a great job and as you see it is 'straight off the gun'.

Much nicer paint than before and now with 'Extra Sparkle!  

You can't quite tell the colour change from these pics, but it shines a greeny/gold and various shades of blue and turquoise. I find myself just standing there looking at it. There's definitely something about metalflake!

Hi boris that looks great" a lot better than when i seen it at the RAT DAY on the weekend shame it rained all day and you didn't get to show off your sparkle it would of looked great in the sun"now whats this bout you standing there just looking at it " you haven't got time for that put some glass in them side openings if you'v got nothing better too do lol

roof looks good... but is the car faster now?

Feels pretty strong, but I haven't really given it a good tune-up yet. Still sorting out a few glitches, but if it slower, it's not by much.

Nice paint--if it is slicker-less wind resistance--should be faster
