Well I found one more piece today. A racer went through his throw-a-ways and came up with a 605 steering box for $20.00. I don't think that it will require as big a clearance as an 800 and I may have to space it out from my mounts anyway as the vega box seem closer to the outside edge than the 605 does. The truck made it into the garage before the Jeepster even got a chance. The truck was sitting on a place where lawnchairs are supposed to be. I explained that I wanted to get the Willys back in the garage and the truck, being runable, could sit out back and I could drive it around to the front of the garage when I got time to work on it. The truck was right there and heard every word. Took me an hour to get it running enough to go 10' so it got the spot in the shade by default. Does steer easier with motorcycle tires on the front. Still maybe GPster
