Tony,
What is the proper adjustment for the kickdown cable on a 350 trans?
Is it supposed to drop all the way to low when you stomp on it below a certain speed or is it just using second gear. Mine seems to drop to second all the way up to about 50 mph then after that nothing happens. Is that correct?
Thanks,
Don

the cable is not as important on the t-350 tranny since there is a vacuum modulator.

If you wish to adjust the cable back some ( less pull) the tranny will be fine.

The key difference to a t-350 & 700r4 comparo is the vacuum modulator.  As vacuum to the trans drops the main line pressure goes up.  The 700 trans depends only on the TV cable for main line pressure  rise
