Brake Booster

Thanks for all the replies on my brake problems.  I'm getting ready to oder a new (rebuilt) booster/mastercylinder pair.   When I had mine out of the car we tried to get the rod that goes to the brake pedal out of the booster.  It didn't appear to want to come out and we didn't force anything and it is still in the booster.  

Does this rod come with a new or rebuilt booster or does it come out of mine in someway I can't see?

On the internet on one parts site they showed the rod with the booster.  My local parts store doesn't know and if I get the wrong thing from them there is a charge to send it back.

Sum,

some of the rods on the pedal  side pull out, most  don't.  I am not sure on your application

I imagine some body here on the RRT will have better info than I do.

The one on the mastercylinder side comes right out.
