Brake Parts Interchangeability

I'm about to take apart a '75 Chevy G20 (3/4-ton) Van.

I have a '72 Chevy C10 (1/2-ton) pickup.

The van has 5-lug hubs just like the pickup, and I'm wondering if the brake parts might swap.  I like the idea of increasing my braking power to the higher GVW of the van, but have no idea if things like the calipers and disks, or drums and backing plates, will swap.

I use the pickup for general parts chasing, and occasionaly pull a trailer with it.  It rarely carries more weight than its rating, but it has sure pulled more a time or two.

Anyone have any idea if this is possible?

If they are both disc brakes, they are the same parts. Rotors, calipers, pads are all the same part number right down the line.

So there would be no gain in braking power, but you do have some good spare parts

Any idea on the rears?

The rear brakes are the same too.

That being the case, I don't think they are worth pulling off.
