Heating/bending wishbones

Working on the 46 ford,I'm replacing the turbo350 with a 200 r4.
to clean up the underside i want to bend the wishbones so that they point tward the rear of the car (the last 8" of the bones)
This will make it a lot nicer to replace the tranny,as they are in the way now.
I realy had to open the x frame up more as the 200 is wider than the 350 as far as the pan goes.
So with a new center section fabed up i want to move the wishbone ends out too.
anyone see any problems with this change.
